Sydney, Australia – 12 August 2025 – Miles Advisory Partners, a leading mid-market M&A advisory firm, today announced a new management structure designed to position the firm for long-term growth and continued excellence in client service. At the heart of the changes is a new Executive Committee, bringing together the firm’s five Managing Directors to drive the firm forward.
The changes follow the recent and deeply saddening passing of the firm’s founder Tim Miles. Tim established Miles Advisory Partners with a vision of providing market-leading strategic advice to mid-market clients, and his legacy remains at the heart of the firm’s values, approach and new leadership structure.
The new Executive Committee will lead the firm’s strategic direction, operational performance, and client delivery. The committee comprises:
The Executive Committee will work collectively to set and oversee the firm’s growth strategy, maintain its track record of transaction execution excellence, and oversee key client, personnel, and operational matters.
The Executive Committee will continue to work seamlessly with the firm’s global strategic partner, Lincoln International, to bring the benefits of deep sector expertise and global reach to the firm’s clients.
As part of the new structure Gareth Cope in the role of Executive Chairman, will provide senior market representation, governance oversight, and strategic guidance across the business.
Lloyd Way and Duncan Mann, as Co-Heads of Miles Advisory Partners, will be jointly responsible for the firm’s day-to-day operations, deal execution, and talent management across both Sydney and Melbourne offices.
“At Miles Advisory Partners, we have built our reputation on the strength of our people and the quality of advice we provide,” said Gareth Cope, Executive Chairman. “This new leadership structure formalises the collaborative approach that has been key to our success, ensures seamless continuity for our clients, and positions the firm for the future; in keeping with the standards of excellence Tim instilled in the firm.”
The changes reflect the firm’s ongoing commitment to providing senior-level expertise on every engagement, delivering the best possible outcomes for clients, and fostering a unified “one-firm” culture across its national platform.
