Tim Miles

Tim Miles

Tim is the founder and principal of Miles Advisory Partners and has worked in corporate finance since 1997. Tim founded Miles Advisory Partners in 2002 with the specific goal of providing professional corporate advisory services to the mid-market. Since this time, he has led more than 70 successful private and public transactions including divestments, mergers, acquisitions and debt/equity capital raisings.

Prior to establishing Miles Advisory Partners, Tim held a variety of executive positions specialising in merger and acquisition transactions and capital raisings, and has provided advice across a broad range of industries including engineering, resources, manufacturing, distribution and finance.

Kevin Jacobson

Kevin Jacobson

Kevin joined Miles as a Senior Advisor in 2013. Kevin has a distinguished reputation as a leading investment banker in Australia with a career spanning over 25 years. He has advised many of Australia’s largest listed and private companies on mergers and acquisitions, reorganisations and debt/equity capital markets transactions.

Prior to establishing independent advisory/private equity boutique, Momentum Pacific Group in 2003, Kevin was a Managing Director of JPMorgan Australia and prior to that, Executive Director – Corporate Finance of both Ord Minnett and Schroders Australia. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) and qualified as a Chartered Accountant whilst working for Ernst & Young, both in South Africa and Australia.

Michael Gregory

Michael Gregory

Michael joined Miles Advisory Partners in 2011 as co-head of the Melbourne office. He brings international investment banking and legal experience in mergers and acquisitions plus capital markets across a broad range of industries.

Prior to joining Miles Advisory Partners, Michael spent seven years with Merrill Lynch in the Investment Banking Division, most recently as a Director with coverage of large and mid-cap Industrial Companies. Michael commenced his career in Melbourne with Corrs Chambers Westgarth. He holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Economics (Honours in Econometrics) from Monash University.

Stephen Bowring

Stephen Bowring

Stephen is joint head of the Melbourne office and has been with Miles Advisory Partners since 2010. With more than 18 years' experience in the corporate finance sector, he has led more than 50 transactions including acquisitions, divestments, capital raisings, corporate re-structures and off-market takeovers, across a range of sectors, including business services, IT, finance and insurance, and automotive.

Prior to joining Miles Advisory Partners, he was an Associate Director for Deloitte Corporate Finance, and has also held senior corporate strategic roles, including for UXC Limited. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Business in Banking and Finance, a Graduate Diploma of Corporations and Securities Law and a Masters of Applied Finance.

Paul Worsley

Paul Worsley

Paul has over 10 years’ experience providing M&A advice to mid-market companies on acquisitions, divestments, off-market takeovers, capital raisings and debt advisory.  Prior to joining Miles Advisory Partners, Paul worked in the corporate advisory team at ANZ Bank advising institutional and corporate banking customers.

Prior to becoming an M&A adviser Paul had a broad 10 year corporate finance and accounting background across the UK and Australia as an auditor, independent expert, business valuer and conducting due diligence.  Paul holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Mathematics and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Dean Milner

Dean Milner

Dean joined Miles Advisory Partners in 2015, having over 13 years' experience in the corporate finance sector. He has advised clients on public and private company mergers and acquisitions, divestments, corporate restructures and equity capital markets transactions across a broad range of sectors.

Prior to joining Miles Advisory Partners, Dean was an Executive Director in the corporate advisory division of Investec and prior to that, worked in both the equity capital markets and corporate finance divisions of ABN AMRO. Dean holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment and has completed the Program for Leadership Development (PLD) at Harvard Business School.

Lloyd Way

Lloyd Way

Lloyd has over nine years’ experience providing corporate finance services. Since joining Miles in 2013, Lloyd has successfully advised a number of mid-market clients across a range of industry sectors, including financial services, automotive, wholesale and distribution, logistics and business services.

Prior to joining Miles, Lloyd spent five years with PwC Corporate Finance providing advice to clients on mergers and acquisitions, valuation, financial modelling and other general advisory services. Lloyd holds a Bachelor of Management Studies (Hons) in Finance and Economics.

 

Craig Andrews

Craig Andrews

Craig has over eight years' experience providing corporate finance advice to mid-market companies across a range of sectors. Craig has expertise in acquisitions, divestments, capital raisings and debt advisory, working in both Perth and Sydney. Craig holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance, Banking and Management and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance.

Alex Sowden

Alex Sowden

Alex is a Chartered Accountant with over six years' experience providing financial and accounting advice to diverse businesses and lenders in roles across corporate advisory, corporate recovery and internal finance control. Prior to joining Miles Advisory Partners, she was a part of the Transaction Advisory Services team at Ernst & Young, and has also held roles in a boutique corporate recovery firm and a mid-tier accounting firm. Alex holds a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting, and a Bachelor of Management. She is also a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Rohan Manikath

Rohan Manikath

Rohan has over seven years’ advisory and corporate finance experience advising diverse businesses on strategic planning, financial modelling, valuation, acquisitions and divestments. He has previously held roles in a boutique investment firm and KPMG M&A, and was a manager at PwC Corporate Finance. Rohan holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance, a Graduate Diploma in Commercial Law and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Josh Maqsood

Josh Maqsood

Josh has over five years’ corporate finance experience involving acquisitions, divestments, refinancing and strategic planning across a range of industry sectors. Prior to joining Miles Advisory Partners, he spent four years at KPMG Transaction Services in the UK and Australia, and worked for a private investment company in Melbourne. Josh is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Jon Bucceri

Jon Bucceri

Jon has over six years’ advisory and corporate finance experience, assisting a diverse range of mid-market businesses with strategic planning, capital raisings, acquisitions and divestments. Prior to joining Miles Advisory Partners, Jon was a Senior Manager within Grant Thornton’s M&A advisory team. Jon holds Bachelor of Commerce and Law degrees and is presently completing a MBA.

Stefi has over five years’ corporate finance experience providing advice to a diverse range of businesses on mergers and acquisitions, financial modelling and debt advisory. Prior to joining Miles Advisory Partners, she has previously held roles in a boutique advisory firm and KPMG Corporate Finance. Stefi holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Masters in Finance.

Adam Copolov

Adam joined Miles Advisory Partners in 2014, after completing a Bachelor of Commerce, and a Bachelor of Economics at Monash University (Clayton), majoring in Finance and Economics. He has previously held roles at Bloomberg and Commonwealth Bank of Australia.

Letizia Celani

Letizia Celani

Letizia joined Miles Advisory Partners in 2016, after completing a Bachelor of Commerce (Liberal Studies) at The University of Sydney, majoring in Finance and Accounting. She has previously held roles at Grant Thornton and Intermediate Capital Group.

Laura Hodgson

Laura Hodgson

Laura is the Office Manager and Executive Assistant at Miles Advisory Partners. Her role includes co-ordination of the office, executive support, administrative and finance support, as well as marketing and communications. Laura holds a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Banking and Finance.

Joanne Fraser

Joanne Fraser

Jo has over 20 years of experience in the investment banking industry. Jo is the Executive Assistant to the Senior Advisors at Miles. Her role includes executive and administrative support, IT and desktop publishing.
