Tim is the founder and principal of Miles Advisory Partners and has worked in corporate finance since 1997. Tim founded Miles Advisory Partners in 2002 with the specific goal of providing professional corporate advisory services to the mid-market. Since this time, he has led more than 90 successful private and public transactions including divestments, mergers, acquisitions and debt/equity capital raisings.
Prior to establishing Miles Advisory Partners, Tim held a variety of executive positions specialising in merger and acquisition transactions and capital raisings, and has provided advice across a broad range of industries including engineering, resources, manufacturing, distribution and finance.
Michael joined Miles Advisory Partners in 2011 as co-head of the Melbourne office and became a shareholder in 2018.
He brings international investment banking and legal experience in mergers and acquisitions plus capital markets across a broad range of industries.
Prior to joining Miles Advisory Partners, Michael was a Director with Merrill Lynch in the Investment Banking Division in Melbourne and London. Michael commenced his career in Melbourne with Corrs Chambers Westgarth. He holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Economics (Honours in Econometrics) from Monash University.
Stephen joined Miles Advisory Partners in 2010 as a Director and became a shareholder in 2018. With more than 20 years' experience in the corporate finance sector, he has led more than 50 transactions including acquisitions, divestments, capital raisings, corporate re-structures and off-market takeovers, across a range of sectors, including business services, IT, finance and insurance, and automotive.
Prior to joining Miles Advisory Partners, he held several senior corporate strategic roles, including for UXC Limited. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Business in Banking and Finance, a Graduate Diploma of Corporations and Securities Law and a Masters of Applied Finance.
Paul is a Director at Miles Advisory Partners having joined in 2011 and became a shareholder in 2018. Paul provides M&A advice to mid-market companies on acquisitions, divestments, takeovers, capital raisings and debt advisory and has led 13 successfully completed M&A transactions in his time at Miles.
Paul applies his strong corporate finance and accounting technical skills gained across a 20+ year career as a M&A adviser, independent expert, business valuer investigating accountant and auditor to achieving the best outcome for clients.
Paul holds a BSc(Hons) in Mathematics and is a Fellow of the ICAEW.
Dean joined Miles Advisory Partners in 2015, and has over 15 years' experience in the corporate finance sector. He has advised clients on public and private company mergers and acquisitions, divestments, corporate restructures and equity capital markets transactions across a broad range of sectors.
Prior to joining Miles Advisory Partners, Dean was an Executive Director in the corporate advisory division of Investec and prior to that, worked in both the equity capital markets and corporate finance divisions of ABN AMRO. Dean holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment and has completed the Program for Leadership Development (PLD) at Harvard Business School.
Lloyd has over ten years’ experience providing corporate finance services. Since joining Miles in 2013, Lloyd has successfully advised a number of mid-market clients across a range of industry sectors, including financial services, automotive, wholesale and distribution, logistics and business services.
Prior to joining Miles, Lloyd spent five years with PwC Corporate Finance providing advice to clients on mergers and acquisitions, valuation, financial modelling and other general advisory services. Lloyd holds a Bachelor of Management Studies (Hons) in Finance and Economics.
Craig has over twelve years' experience providing corporate finance advice to mid-market companies across a range of sectors. Craig has expertise in acquisitions, divestments, capital raisings and debt advisory, working in both Perth and Sydney. Craig holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance, Banking and Management and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance.
Kevin joined Miles as a Senior Advisor in 2013. Kevin has a distinguished reputation as a leading investment banker in Australia with a career spanning over 25 years. He has advised many of Australia’s largest listed and private companies on mergers and acquisitions, reorganisations and debt/equity capital markets transactions.
Prior to establishing independent advisory/private equity boutique, Momentum Pacific Group in 2003, Kevin was a Managing Director of JPMorgan Australia and prior to that, Executive Director – Corporate Finance of both Ord Minnett and Schroders Australia. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) and qualified as a Chartered Accountant whilst working for Ernst & Young, both in South Africa and Australia.
Rohan has over nine years’ advisory and corporate finance experience advising diverse businesses on strategic planning, financial modelling, valuation, acquisitions and divestments. He has previously held roles in a boutique investment firm and KPMG M&A, and was a manager at PwC Corporate Finance. Rohan holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance, a Graduate Diploma in Commercial Law and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
Josh has over seven years’ corporate finance experience involving acquisitions, divestments, refinancing and strategic planning across a range of industry sectors. Prior to joining Miles Advisory Partners, he spent four years at KPMG Transaction Services in the UK and Australia, and worked for a private investment company in Melbourne. Josh is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Reece has over eight years’ advisory and corporate finance experience advising a diverse range of businesses on acquisitions, divestments, debt funding and refinancing, within the South African, UK, European and Australian markets. He has previously held roles at EY, a London based boutique M&A firm and was a senior manager at Crowe Horwath M&A. Reece holds a Bachelor of Accounting Science and is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Yeukayi has over five years’ advisory and corporate finance experience advising a diverse range of mid-market businesses on acquisitions, divestments, strategic planning and transaction services. She has previously held roles in M&A at KPMG and PwC. Yeukayi is CFA Charterholder and a provisional member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
Stefi has over five years’ corporate finance experience providing advice to a diverse range of businesses on mergers and acquisitions, financial modelling and debt advisory. Prior to joining Miles Advisory Partners, she has previously held roles in a boutique advisory firm and KPMG Corporate Finance. Stefi holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Masters in Finance.
Hamish has over 3 years' experience in corporate advisory and capital markets advising businesses on acquisitions and capital raising processes. Prior to joining Miles Advisory Partners, he held roles in a boutique advisory firm and ANZ Banking Group's Treasury Funding team. Hamish holds a Bachelor of Commerce (with Honours) from the University of Melbourne.
Adam has over four years’ financial markets experience researching and investing in small listed companies. Prior to joining Miles Advisory Partners, he worked as an Investment Analyst at a deep-value boutique fund manager focused on ASX-listed equities. Adam holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Sydney.
Alan has over three years’ corporate finance experience advising businesses on mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings and strategic reviews. Prior to joining Miles Advisory Partners, he held roles in a boutique corporate advisory firm and KPMG. Alan holds a Master of Finance and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne.
James has over three years' financial services experience, including in corporate advisory and capital markets advising businesses on mergers and acquisitions and capital raising processes. Prior to joining Miles Advisory Partners, James worked in roles at Deloitte and Baillieu Holst Ltd. James holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and is a CFA Exam Level II Candidate.
Laura is the Office Manager and Executive Assistant at Miles Advisory Partners. Her role includes co-ordination of the office, executive support, administrative and finance support, as well as marketing and communications. Laura holds a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Banking and Finance.
Jo has over 20 years of experience in the investment banking industry. Jo is the Executive Assistant to the Senior Advisors at Miles. Her role includes executive and administrative support, IT and desktop publishing.
