Tim is the founder and principal of Miles Advisory Partners and has worked in corporate finance since 1997. He has held a variety of executive positions specialising in merger and acquisition transactions and capital raisings, and has provided advice across a broad range of industries including engineering, resources, manufacturing, distribution and finance. Tim founded Miles Advisory Partners in 2002 with the specific goal of providing professional corporate advisory services to the mid-market.
Michael joined Miles Advisory Partners in 2011 as head of the Melbourne office. He brings international investment banking and legal experience in mergers acquisitions plus capital markets across a broad range of industries.
Prior to joining Miles, Michael spent seven years with Merrill Lynch in the Investment Banking Division, most recently as a director with coverage of large and mid-cap Industrial Companies. Michael commenced his career in Melbourne with Corrs Chambers Westgarth. He holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Economics (Honours in Econometrics) from Monash University.
Andrew joined the company in 2007 and has been involved in corporate finance for more than 10 years. He has provided corporate advice across many sectors including infrastructure, engineering, construction, transport and logistics, financial services and private equity, and spent five years as General Manager of Finance for an ASX200 listed company. Andrew holds an MBA from MGSM and a Masters of Applied Finance.
Stephen has over 10 years experience in the corporate finance sector, with expertise in acquisitions, divestments, capital raisings, corporate re-structures and off-market takeovers. Prior to joining Miles Advisory Partners, he was an Associate Director for Deloitte Corporate Finance, and has also held senior roles for South of Market Corporate Advisory and UXC Limited, where he played an instrumental role in over 45 transactions. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Business in Banking and Finance, a Graduate Diploma of Corporations and Securities Law and a Masters of Applied Finance.
Paul has over 13 years experience providing financial services and advice to mid market companies. Prior to joining Miles Advisory Partners, Paul worked in the Corporate Advisory team at ANZ Bank advising institutional and corporate banking customers on acquisitions, divestments, off-market takeovers, capital raisings and debt advisory. Paul has also held roles in the Assurance and Corporate Finance teams of mid tier chartered accounting firms Mazars (UK) and BDO (Sydney) where he specialised in business valuation and independent expert reports. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Mathematics and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
In more than seven years working in the corporate finance sector in both Perth and Sydney, Craig has provided strategic advice to companies in financial services, engineering, transport and logistics, and mining. Craig holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance, Banking and Management and is currently completing a Masters of Applied Finance.
Pedro has over 8 years experience providing corporate finance advice to mid market companies across several industry sectors. Prior to joining Miles Advisory Partners, he worked for Deloitte Corporate Finance in Europe and Africa, advising clients on mergers & acquisitions, financial modelling, business valuations and finance performance improvement advisory. Pedro holds a Bachelor of Management, an MBA from AGSM (UNSW) and is a Chartered Accountant.
Anthony has over eight years’ experience in providing accounting and corporate finance services, with experience in a wide variety of mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions. Prior to joining Miles Advisory Partners, Anthony was an Associate Director in the Transaction Services team at Deloitte Corporate Finance, advising on Australian and cross-border transactions across several industry sectors. Anthony holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and Economics, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from FINSIA and has completed the Chartered Accountants Program with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
Prior to joining Miles Advisory Partners, Amanda was a Senior Analyst for Deloitte Corporate Finance Advisory, having completed rotations in Transaction Services, Financial Modelling, Valuations and Advisory. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance and has completed her Chartered Accountants Program with the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Before he joined the Miles Advisory Partners team, Trevor worked as an Investment Analyst in the M&A team at a global engineering services firm. He has also worked in the research and corporate finance teams of a boutique institutional stockbroker. Trevor holds a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting and Finance, and is currently completing the Chartered Financial Analyst program.
Melissa is the Office Manager and Executive Assistant at Miles Advisory Partners. Her role includes co-ordination of the office, executive support, administrative and finance support, plus marketing and communications.
